The famed Indian Coffee House on The Mall in Shimla will start serving snacks other than south Indian delicacies from Monday. The old-timers are distinctly unhappy. The Coffee House says the change is necessitated by economic reasons. Govt replaces Amritsar medical college principal who was caught doing private practice

Six days after he was caught doing private practice against the rules, Dr BS Bal as replaced as principal of Government Medical College, Amritsar, on Friday. Dr Sohan Singh has been appointed as the new principal.
