Carnival Cruise Line has extended its Carnival Journeys program of longer cruises with less-visited ports of call.

The roster includes 22 cruises starting this month and running through September 2017. All of the cruises are at least nine days with a November 2016 Long Beach-Hawaii roundtrip on the Carnival Miracle running 15 days.

There are several 10-day roundtrips from Charleston, S.C., on the Carnival Sunshine. Open-jawed itineraries are again featured, such as an April 13, 2016, cruise between San Juan and Jacksonville on the Carnival Elation, with stops in southern Caribbean ports of call Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia and St. Kitts.

The lineup concludes with a 10-day Carnival Legend cruise departing Vancouver on Sept. 12, 2017, with five stops in Hawaii.
