Safety of students prime concern: Kendriya Vidyalayas issue directive to schools

Days after the central board of secondary education (CBSE) issued safety guidelines for affiliated schools following the murder of a 8-year-old boy in a Gurgaon School, Kendriya Vidyalyas (KVs) has also issued a similar directive to schools. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), under the ministry of human resource development (HRD), has made deputy commissioners of the area responsible for any violations of these standard safety procedures. Skoda Kodiaq gets a 5-star safety rating by Euro NCAP

Euro NCAP recently tested four brand new cars for safety, including the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq. The Kodiaq, in fact, was awarded a 5-star rating in the stringent crash tests. Tesla criticised over Autopilot safety

Tesla has “pushed the envelope” on safety, former business partner Mobileye has said. Its zeal to extend its Autopilot system had led Mobileye to stop working with Tesla, said the chairman of the computer vision company.
