Verizon gives discounts to emergency first responders with unlimited plans

Verizon introduces new discounts for those heroes of our local communities. State and city police, Emergency Medical Service (EMS) workers, and Fire department as well will all be eligible for Verizon discounts on their personal service accounts. Verizon, Sprint to Pay $158 Million Over Unauthorised Phone Charges

    Verizon Communications Inc will pay $90 million (roughly Rs. 576 crores) and Sprint Corp will pay $68 million to settle US government probes into unauthorised charges tacked onto their customers’ phone bills, federal agencies said on Tuesday.
