New Zealand has announced plans to introduce a tourist tax and increase other fees for international visitors to fund infrastructure development in the face of a tourist boom. Jamaica welcomes record number of UK visitors in 2015

The Jamaica Tourist Board has announced the number of tourists from the UK & Ireland visiting between January-December 2015 has surpassed the 200,000 mark for the very first time. There were a total of 201,364 arrivals on the island. This represents an increase of 12.2 per cent from the previous year which saw 179,433 pass through Jamaican shores.
