Jamaica welcomes record number of UK visitors in 2015

The Jamaica Tourist Board has announced the number of tourists from the UK & Ireland visiting between January-December 2015 has surpassed the 200,000 mark for the very first time. There were a total of 201,364 arrivals on the island. This represents an increase of 12.2 per cent from the previous year which saw 179,433 pass through Jamaican shores. These figures do not include cruise visitors – only holidaymakers staying overnight.
