The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the results for Class 12 Board examinations today. The results for the Intermediate (Class 12) Commerce stream examination have been published online at the official site of the board.
In 2014, the board declared the Class 12 results for Science and Commerce streams on May 27. This year, the result for both the streams have been declared separately, the Science stream results were declared earlier, on May 20.
Approximately nine lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examination in Bihar this year. The intermediate exams were conducted from February 18 to March 3.
The results are available at www.biharboard.ac.in and www.biharboard.bih.nic.in. Once the students who appeared for the examination have checked their results, they also have the option to download their results for future reference.
The students can also get their results through the Bihar Board SMS service.
The board will send the individual mark sheets to the affiliated schools in due time.
The Bihar School Examination Board was set up for prescribing the course of studies for such secondary school examinations and for carrying out other duties which are considered necessary for this purpose as stated in the Rules and Regulations of the Board Act.
It conducts departmental examinations such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and conditions as laid down by the Bihar government.
The board is responsible for organising the annual secondary school examination in the months of February/March and supplementary school examination in the months of August/September in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the state government.
