The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) 2015 commenced on May 14. The competitive examination is scheduled to be conducted from May 14 to May 19. The candidates who clear the exam will be eligible for admissions into various courses, such as BE (Hons), B.Pharm (Hons), M.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc (Tech).
BITSAT is an entrance exam for admission to integrated first degree programmes at BITS Pilani campuses in Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa. It is a computer based exam and is conducted online. The last date for submitting the applications was February 20, and the applicants were allowed to choose their exam slot (test date and time) till March 20. The admit cards were released on April 15.
Initially, no change in the exam date was permitted, however, the authorities at BITS Pilani took into consideration the clash of examination dates. The candidates having a valid reason for change of exam date, were allowed to apply for change of exam date on or before May 10.
This year, BITSAT is scheduled to be held from May 14 to May 19. Students holding an international passport and having a valid SAT score have the option to take admission under the ‘International Students Scheme’.
The candidates will be able to apply for admission with Class 12 marks and preferences to degree programmes from May 20 to June 30. The list of the selected candidates and the wait list will be released on July 1.
