The Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to announce results for Class 10 students on May 27. Apart from the results that will be declared on the official website of CBSE, students could also opt for results on their cell phones by registering via SMS.
The Government will be providing this facility all over India across all mobile service operators. The users will have access to the results irrespective of their handset type or service operator.
Students who will be checking their CBSE Class 10 results via SMS have to just type their board name followed by the roll number. For instance, CBSE10 (Roll number) and send it to 57272. Students will receive an SMS with their names and scores out of the total marks.
The service is live on all service providers like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Tata Docomo.
Government’s initiative of providing results through SMS has definitely made standing in long queues a redundant process. Apart from CBSE, boards like ISC, ICSE, Haryana Board and Kerala Board are also a part of the bandwagon.
A total of 13,73,853 students will be awaiting their Class 10 CBSE result anxiously. Results were first expected to be announced around May 19 but have been delayed despite the completion of the evaluation process
