The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) declared the SSLC (Class 10) Board results at 10 am, today.

The candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results at the official site of the Board, www.mbose.in. After the students who appeared for the examination have checked their results online, they can download the PDF file of their results and take a printout for future reference.

They also have the option to get their results on their mobile phones through the MBOSE SMS service.

After the declaration of results, the result booklet will also be published online. The head of institutions affiliated to MBOSE will be required to collect the result booklet from the board’s office in any of these cities- Tura, Shillong or Jowai.

The results will also be displayed on the notice board of the MBOSE offices in Tura, Shillong and Jowai.

MBOSE  has the power to regulate, supervise and control school education in Meghalaya. Its primary function is to prepare academic programmes and organise examinations, especially for state level High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC or Class 10) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC or Class 12).

The primary functions of the board are to recommend the syllabus, propose rules and specify courses of instruction and textbooks, teaching by correspondence courses, recognition of higher school and higher secondary schools in Meghalaya.
