ZTE has introduced its new trio of budget Android smartphones in China – the ZTE V3 Youth Edition, V3 Energy Edition and V3 Extreme Edition. All of these smartphones offer a aluminium builds, fingerprint sensors, and support 4G networks. These devices were launched soon after MEIZU, one of ZTE’s main rivals in China, introduced the budget 4G LTE-enabled m2smartphone.
Coming to the specs, the ZTE V3 Youth, V3 Energy and Extreme all offer similar core specs. They run the Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Nubia UI 3.0, measure 8.5mm around the waist, and weigh 160g. They flaunt 5.5-inch full HD displays, and are powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processors.
The new ZTE V3 series devices gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, further expandable up to 128GB. The camera department includes 13-megapixel rear cameras with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front snappers. The smartphones are fuelled by 3,000mAh non-removable batteries.
