China-based Coolpad made its Indian debut in May this year with the Dazen 1 and Dazen X7smartphones. Now the brand has added a new device to the range back in its home country in the form of the Dazen Note 3, a device which comes with premium features at an affordable price tag. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with the company’s proprietary UI on top.
The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 offers a 5.5-inch HD display, and is equipped with a fingerprint sensor. It’s powered by an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor, aided by a Mali T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 13MP autofocus rear camera with an LED flash, and a 5MP secondary snapper.
In terms of connectivity, the Dazen Note 3 offers 4G LTE support, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. It offers 16GB of internal memory, further expandable via a microSD card slot. The handset sips juice from a decent 3,000 mAh battery.
The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 has been priced at 899 Yuan, which roughly converts to Rs 9,200. At that price, it’s one of the most affordable devices rocking a fingerprint sensor.
