The results for JEE Advanced have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their marks at the official website.
The students who appeared for the exam should be either be within the category-wise top 20 candidates in Class 12 Board examination or should have scored 75 percent (General Candidate) and 70 percent (SC/ST) to be able to qualify for IIT or ISM.
The Optical Response Sheet (ORS) and scanned images, cut-off marks and rank list for preparatory courses have already been published online.
The candidates had access to the answer keys and marks on June 13. The key was published keeping in mind the feedback given the candidates, post June 8.
The candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result by following the given guidelines:
Visit the official website jeeadv.iitb.ac.in
Enter the required details (Name, hall ticket number/roll number)
Press ‘Submit’
The results will appear on screen. The candidates must also note that the All India Rank (AIR) and the category rank will be displayed on the official website once the results are declared. No individual rank cards will be issued. Simply getting a rank in the examination does not guarantee admission to the students into IITs or ISM.
The JEE Advanced was conducted on May 24. Approximately 1.5 lakh students has registered for the competitive exam, and about 1.25 lakh appeared for it.
