Camel rides, safaris and race are among the many adventurous highlights of this festival.

On the sand dunes of the Thar Desert, imagine the tunes of enchanting music and adventure activities such as camel race and off-road driving. This pleasant visual won’t just be a dream with the upcoming festival, Mahindra Open Sky in association with Hindustan Times.

Ayushmann Khurrana will perform with his band Ayushmann Bhava on second day of the festival.

Spanning two nights and three days, this event for just 500 attendees, has an stunning line-up of Indian and international artists including concerts by singer Papon and actor Ayushmann Khurrana — with his band Ayushmann Bhava. “I was thrilled when asked to be a part of the line-up at Mahindra Open Sky, as it sounds like the perfect setting for an intimate session with my band. We’ve got an amazing set lined up for the audience, looking forward to playing it under an open sky,” says Ayushmann Khurrana.

Angarag Mahanta aka Papon will perform on first day of the festival.

Similar excitement is palpable in Papon’s voice, when he says: “It’s always good to know that you’re part of something that’s happening for the first time, and in the case of Mahindra Open Sky, there are many firsts! I think, for the first time, a festival is combining music and adventure. It’s also the first festival in India with only 500 attendees. I’m thrilled to be a part of this journey from the start.”

Deepika Mehta will conduct early morning yoga sessions on second and third day of the festival.

The organisers believe that the festival will be an unforgettable experience. “Mahindra Open Sky has a multitude of offerings. From dune bashing in the Thar to enchanting concerts by contemporary Indian musicians, it promises to be an experience you’ll want to relive each year,” says Jay Shah, head, cultural outreach, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

International musician Sam Lewis will perform on day two.
