While Samsung is busy upgrading monitors with wireless charging, and perhaps working itself to the brink of insanity in preparations for the Galaxy Note 5’s August launch event, lucky leaksters are stumbling upon the phablet in the wild and taking pictures of it as if they saw a unicorn!
The latest batch of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 photos sees Sammy’s hero phablet dressed up in a protective plastic case by Japanese brand Nillkin. Although the images don’t reveal anything you haven’t seen before, they seems as authentic as leaked photos get. The Note 5 is the finest-looking Note phablet to date, even if the Galaxy S6’s metal & glass design DNA is exceedingly obvious in it. Not a bad thing at all, considering how nice the GS6’s design is!
Once again, we’re seeing a close-up of the S-Pen inside its silo, with no auto-eject mechanism anywhere in sight. We’re also spotting what appears to be a single mono speaker next to the stylus, in addition to a regular-looking microUSB port that doesn’t seem to be of the C-type. The Galaxy Note 5 certainly looks thick and big, but those knowing the Note line-up shouldn’t feel puzzled by the workhorse design. After all, the Note phablets are made for heavy lifting!
