Google’s flagship smartphone, the Nexus 6, has received a huge price cut in India. The 32GB model of the smartphone was originally launched in the country for Rs 44,999, but is now being offered for Rs 34,999 on Flipkart. The 64GB Nexus 6 on the other hand is available for Rs 39,999, down from Rs 49,999 earlier.
Launched in India in November last year, the Google Nexus 6 (first impressions) was the first smartphone to run Android Lollipop out of the box. The phone sports a 5.96-inch quad-HD display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is backed by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, aided by a meaty 3GB of RAM. It offers a 13MP rear camera with OIS and a dual-LED flash, and a 2MP front snapper. The handset is fuelled by a 3,220mAh battery that supports Turbo Charging.
Flipkart is also running an exchange offer on the Google Nexus 6. Users can get an additional discount of Rs 5,000 in exchange for an old smartphone.
