Norms not followed in teacher appointments at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University: Scheduled Caste Commission

Lucknow: The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has pointed to flaws in the reservation roster for appointment of teachers at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University here. The commission found that vacancies in the reservation rosters, submitted by BBAU vice chancellor RC Sobti ‘prima facie’, were not in accordance with the prescribed format of the department of personnel and training (DoPT).
