China-based smartphone maker vivo introduced the X5Pro in its home market in May this year. Now the company has launched the smartphone in India. The device comes with a new eye-scanner technology that lets users unlock the phone and access secured data using their eyes.
The vivo X5Pro runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Funtouch OS 2.1 on top. It comes with a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED 2.5D display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is powered by an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
For storage, the X5Pro comes with 16GB of internal memory, which users can further increase via a microSD card. The photography department includes a 13MP rear snapper with an LED flash and an 8MP front shooter capable of capturing photos up to 32GB via interpolation. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers 4G LTE support, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. It is fuelled by a 2,300mAh battery.
