Chinese smartphone manufacturer Doogee is looking to have both ends of the market covered. With speculation that the Doogee X5 is going to be priced at the equivalent of $49.99, the low-end is apparently taken care of. And a new report says that the high-end will be handled by the Doogee Titans 3 T3. This will be a “luxury” Android flavored model featuring a 5-inch, 720 x 1280 resolution display. That combination produces a pixel density of 294ppi.
The Titans 3 T3 will be powered by a MediaTek MT6735 chipset, which contains a quad-core CPU and the Mali-T720 GPU. 2GB of RAM will be inside along with 16GB of native storage. Besides sporting an iris scanner, the phone will have a second display on top that will show time and notifications. Leather covers the back of the handset, which will come with a metal frame. The Doogee Titans 3 T3 will also be waterproof. Pricing and availability are unknown at the moment, but with a September release rumored, we should get that information in the near future,
Doogee is one of a number of smaller Chinese handset manufacturers that have been trying to gain notoriety by pushing the envelope of phone design. Next month, the Doogee S 6000 is expected to ship with a 6000mAh battery inside.
