It appears that the domestic vendor Intex is all set to add a new entry-level smartphone to its Aqua series. The company has listed the Intex Aqua Y2 Power on its official website. The phone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and comes with a quad-core processor.
The Intex Aqua Y2 Power offers a compact 4-inch display bearing a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The device utilises a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor, aided by 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal memory, which users can further expand up to 32GB via a microSD card.
The Aqua Y2 Power sports a 5MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 2MP front snapper. In terms of features, the camera offers HDR, Panorama, Time Stamp, Freeze-Frame, and slow motion video. The device is fuelled by a 2,900mAh battery that promises to deliver 20 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual-SIM slots, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, and A-GPS.
The Intex Aqua Y2 Power will be available in white, black, and blue variants. It has been priced at Rs 4,490, and is expected to go on sale in major brick-and-mortar stores and on e-commerce websites in the coming days.
